Tai Tuivasa recently took a nasty jibe at fellow heavyweight Carlos Felipe on social media as the latter got suspended for 18 months after he tested positive for a banned substance.
The surging UFC heavyweight star Tai Tuivasa is fresh from his recent win and is enjoying his time away from the octagon. However, this isn’t stopping ‘Bam Bam’ from taking a dig at his fellow fighters.
Recently, the Aussie fighter destroyed his former opponent, Greg Hardy, on the internet for his comments on their fight. And now he has struck again.

‘Boi’ tested positive for boldenone, an anabolic steroid after his fight in October last year. Hence, the Nevada State Athletic Commission has suspended the fighter for 18 months.
The Brazilian made his UFC debut in 2020 and has competed in five UFC bouts. He is currently 3-2 in the promotion. And will not compete for over a year due to the suspension.
Meanwhile, ‘Bam Bam’ is currently on a rampage and is unbeaten since 2020. He is on a four-fight undefeated streak and has finished all his previous opponents via KO/TKO, three of which came in the first round.
He finished a fighter from the top-15 of the heavyweight division in UFC last month. Interestingly, Tuivasa might return to action next month to do the same.
Tai Tuivasa might take on Derrick Lewis next month in UFC
After his unbeaten run in the promotion, the Aussie fighter is asking for a fight against one of the top-5 from the division, i.e. Derrick Lewis. And even though the latter is far too ahead on the roster than ‘Bam Bam’, the UFC is working to set the fight.

Hence, it won’t be a walk in the park for ‘Bam Bam’ to face the number three heavyweight contender. However, considering both the fighters’ previous fights results, it is going to be a stunning contest for the fans to watch if the fight comes to fruition.
