Conor McGregor always seems to find himself at the center of controversies. ‘The Notorious’ has a knack for initiating feuds. This time he has attracted the attention of former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and additionally, Anthony Smith.

The former UFC champion, McGregor, is currently in the Dominican Republic for his acting duties. The Irishman is part of the cast of the remake of the 1989 cult-classic movie, Road House. This project will mark his debut in Hollywood and he certainly has something to say about his fellow UFC fighter who has been part of similar acting projects.
What did Anthony Smith say?
In the latest clip from the Michael Bisping Podcast, Michael welcomed the guest, Anthony Smith. Anthony is currently the #5 ranked UFC light heavyweight fighter. The duo discussed the recent comments made by Conor McGregor.
Conor McGregor, in a now-deleted tweet, took a dig at the Brit Michael Bisping. He claimed that he actually didn’t remember the show the Brit did.

In the podcast, Anthony Smith predicted how would Conor respond if both the fighters met with their security. He said, “If he didn’t have all of his bodyguards, and you[Michael Bisping] and him[Conor McGregor] ran into each other just somewhere out and he didn’t have 10 friends or five bodyguards or whatever, he wouldn’t dare say something like that to you.”
Anthony further continued, “And that’s the craziest thing to me. Why be an a*shole? When you know no one can do anything about it. Because you gotta, you know, you pay half a million dollars a year in security.”
Michael Bisping responded with a cheeky comment. He stated,

mentioned his thoughts about Conor’s controversial tweets.He said,

The Lionheart continued and said, “But Conor, is just, it’s too far, it’s way too far. That wouldn’t take all this fighting out of the picture. Like people get shot for a lot less than that, just walking down the street.”

These comments came after the incident involving the two that happened last year. During that time, Conor mocked the Texas-born fighter and fellow UFC commentator, Belal Muhammad. McGregor ridiculed them for incorrectly stating that the first to defeat former UFC featherweight titleholder Jose Aldo was Max Holloway instead of McGregor.
During that incident, Anthony was working on the desk as an analyst when he incorrectly mentioned this statement.
