He further added that “They may test McGregor more and more and maybe it’s not six months maybe its three months and he takes as many tests as he needs to in order to clear the fight”.
Daniel Cormier identifies the issue when exceptions are granted to certain individuals and not expanded to include others. He stated, “Here’s where the issue becomes you make that exception then how do you implement this rule for the rest of the people?”
He further added,” We’ve seen exceptions before, and generally, they are for the most high-profile player and for the best fighters in the world and Conor does fit into that category”.
