UFC President Dana White is worth almost $500 million today. The UFC head honcho owns expensive cars and luxury mansions, thanks to his success with the UFC. Another hobby that the 53-year-old has been passionately partaking in is his shoe collection. White recently showed off his shoe collection on which he spends almost $100K a year. While discussing his love for all things shoes, he revealed an interesting story about how he ended up having a closet full of Adidas shoes.
As president of the UFC, Dana White is committed to the brand. This means that he does everything in his power to promote the brand and other brands the UFC partners with. The promotion currently has deals with global brands like Venum, Prime Hydration, and Project Rock, to name a few. One such partnership prevented White from collecting some of his favorite shoes for a long time. He dived into the story during a recent interview.

During the interview, Dana White revealed that he had a closet full of Adidas shoes. This was interesting since almost every shoe in his collection at the UFC headquarters in Vegas was a Nike. Apparently, White could not be seen wearing a Nike thanks to the UFC’s deal with Reebok.
White said, “We had a Reebok deal, you know what I mean? Early on in the UFC, we had like a seven-year deal. And you couldn’t touch Nike when you’re with Reebok.”
He continued. “But Adidas owned Reebok. So, I’m a big Adidas fan too, so everything I wore was Adidas. Most of my closet, I mean I have everything in there.” He further added, “I got like the 25-year House of Pain edition. I think it was 20 or 25. I mean you name the Adidas, you know, I got it.”

Fortunately for White, the deal with Reebok reached a close in March 2021. The American brand was replaced by Venum Brazil and Dana White now sports his favorite Nikes at public appearances. As for Adidas, White’s claims could be a consolation, as they suffered around $540 million in losses after Kanye West’s controversies last year.
Interestingly, White also revealed that he does not wear all the shoes in his collection. Some are there simply as exhibits. The UFC boss also trades shoes with his fighters who are like-minded. He mentioned giving shoes to Kevin Holland and LHW champion Jamahal Hill.
