In a recent interview with ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Michael Chandler addressed questions about TUF, Conor McGregor, and much more. The #5 ranked lightweight star also gave a peek into his personal life, talking about how he likes to spend his time.
Speaking about his communication with the UFC brass, Chandler said, “I think quite a lot of guys you know, quite frankly, scr*w themselves a lot with that when it comes to the UFC and start demanding things and start blowing up and just letting emotion lead the ship.”

He continued, “For me, I’ve been going through seasons of that and you can get very jaded in this industry. You get very jaded by this sport, any sport, whenever there’s organizations involved, managers involved, agents involved, promoters involved, and obviously, opponents and other people to compete against involved. It takes a lot of moving parts to make a fight happen.”
Chandler has always been game for fights since signing with the UFC. He has faced a murderer’s row of lightweight talents and has never failed to put on a show. His relentless showmanship has now finally landed him the biggest money fight in all of MMA.
