Despite his shenanigans and brash persona, UFC star Conor McGregor cares deeply for his fellow compatriots. The former UFC champion always backs the fighters surging from Ireland. The Irish fighter has the desire to uplift those around him, and such was the case when he issued an earnest message to the rising boxing star, Callum Walsh.

Walsh, tipped to emulate ‘Notorious’ in the boxing ring, responded to McGregor’s message and collected an impressive stoppage win. The Cork-native boxer knocked out veteran Carson Jones in the main event of ‘Hollywood Fight Night’. Albeit, not before a clip of him getting almost tearing up after watching McGregor’s message made rounds on the internet.
