Conor McGregor is no stranger to controversies and is always in the public eye. While the fighter is globally known for his incredible fighting skills. ‘Notorious’ is also well known for his outspoken personality and his no holds barred attitude.

Recently, the former 2 division champion was part of a public altercation with another celebrity. McGregor was in attendance at the MTV Video Music Awards, where things got a little heated even before the show started. ‘Notorious’ had a fiery moment with Machine Gun Kelly on the red carpet as pictures of a scuffle surfaced on social media.

While it is unknown what the reason behind the incident was, videos have surfaced online which show McGregor throwing his drink at MGK. After this incident, fans and fighters from all over the world reacted to the same. Various MMA fighters did not lose this opportunity and took digs at ‘Notorious’.

The UFC’s BMF champion Jorge Masvidal was one of the first to take to Twitter. He wrote, “Yo @Triller set this up. In a five-rounder. I got my money on @machinegunkelly #supernecessary”

Other fighters like Belal Muhammad and Terrance McKinney also took to Twitter to share their views on the same.

Conor McGregor is currently recovering from a leg injury he suffered in his fight against Dustin Poirier at the UFC 264 event. Therefore, various fans were also concerned about his leg and talked about how he should be resting rather than attending and fighting at music shows.

While from the video and images, it was quite evident that something between ‘Notorious’ and MGK. McGregor later said that it was nothing and that he did not even know MGK. ‘Notorious’ even went on to say that he does not fight Vanilla boy rappers as he competes with real fighters.

Originally, McGregor had attended the event to present the Best Artist Of The Year award to Justin Bieber. MGK also won an award as he won the Best Alternative Video Award for ‘My Ex’s Best Friend’.
