Yair Rodriguez is all set to face Brian Ortega in a high-stakes rematch in UFC Mexico City. Their initial clash resulted in a knockout victory for ‘El Pantera’ and Rodriguez is looking to maintain that. Rodriguez has been using a single song for his entire life as his walkout song. For his walkout music, Rodriguez rocked the ͏walkout at ͏UFC 290 with “El Invincible” by Los Rieleros del Norte against Volkanovski. Then, at UFC 242 versus Josh Emmett, he swit͏ched it up to the lively “El Corrido de Chihuahua” by the same artist. Yair sure knows how to bring a distinct vibe to each fight night.

The Georgian-Spaniard sensation did the unthinkable when he knocked out Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298 to clinch the featherweight title. Right after the match, Topuria took the mic to state that there is no one in the division to challenge him now. “The division really sucks. We need new challengers. We need a couple more fighters in the division,” said Topuria. ‘El Matador’s words seem to have cut deep inside to ‘El Pantera’s heart.

During the UFC Mexico City’s media day, Yair Rodriguez vowed to defeat Topuria so badly that he would forget about everything. “I would love to f*ck him up. I don’t want to fight him. I want to f*ck him up. There is a f*cking big difference in that. Just to make that clear. And anywhere I see him, I would f*ck him up.F*ck this b**ch. I don’t f**king like him.”
