“Vince Would Welcome U With Open Arms”: Georges St-Pierre’s Latest Confession Has Fans Backing Him for a Pro Wrestling Move as UFC Legend Shares a Moment With WWE Superstars

Georges St-Pierre is argued to be one of the top-level fighters to have ever graced the Octagon. With incredible skills in Kyokushin Karate, Shidokan Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Gaidojutsu, GSP rose to become one of the most technically sound fighters the octagon has ever seen. Undeniably, the Canadian is considered one of the greatest grapplers in the UFC, with an unstoppable double leg. However, the former UFC welterweight champion had a dream that he shared on social media.

Recently, St-Pierre took to Instagram and revealed his childhood dream. He shared a video that displayed the pictures he took with wrestling legends like Kevin Nash, Santino Marella, Goldberg, and Big Show. Without a second’s delay, the combat sports fans took over the comments section and provided their support to GSP. Undoubtedly, most of the fans believed GSP was the greatest of all time and could achieve his dream of becoming a professional wrestler.

Fans push Georges St-Pierre toward his dream

St-Pierre rose to fame with his unique fighting style and became one of the best wrestlers in the MMA universe. The Canadian fighter finally revealed the motivation behind becoming the best wrestler in the UFC. On Instagram, he revealed that as a child; he dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler. He recently shared a video where he showcased some photographs he captured along with some of the big names in professional wrestling. GSP wrote, “I dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler when I was a kid.”

As soon as the post went online, the fans began sliding in thoughts of support in the comments section. Unquestionably, many fans deemed GSP the best fighter they had seen. However, the idea of him turning to WWE excited the fans. Most of the fans believed that he could achieve his childhood dream. Furthermore, one of the fans said that Vince McMahon would welcome him with open arms. While another fan provided the examples of Ronda Rousey and Cain Velasquez.

GSP talks about making a special appearance in WWE

In an interview with Ariel Helwani, St-Pierre reiterated his interest in WWE. Although he was not up for a long-term commitment, he declared that he was available for a special appearance. 

GSP said, “I would never close a door to maybe an appearance, or something like this, but to go on the road for a long time. I have other priorities, I am happy where I am at. But I will never say no to an appearance or something special. Why not? It would be fun.”
