During the fight, ‘Rowdy’ was quite dominant. Moreover, she got the victory via her signature armbar submission in the third round. However, Tate claims that she was battling a personal fight along with the one inside the octagon, which ended up affecting her mentality during the preparation and in the fight.

Tate Believes she can defeat Rousey in a trilogy fight

In an interview later on, ‘Cupcake‘ revealed that Rousey knew her “kryptonite” and had caused problems between her and her ex-partner, leading to instability in her personal life. Despite this, Tate believes she has what it takes to beat Rousey in a trilogy fight if she takes it seriously and is up for it.

Talking to ESPN, she said, “I really wasn’t able to be just fighting her. I was also fighting myself, I was also fighting my relationship, I was also fighting all these extenuating circumstances… I know I have what it takes to beat Ronda Rousey.

She’s doing her thing. She’s retired. I would want to fight her at her best. If she chose, she wanted to come back, and she was like, ‘I want to come back and fight Miesha Tate or whoever,’ I would love another shot at her.” She further added.
