When did Rousey run away?

While conversing about a totally different topic, Rousey mentioned how it wasn’t until she ran away from home that she stopped crying at night. The curious 55-year-old commentator went ahead to ask ‘Rowdy’ about the same.

Ronda Rousey mentioned that she ran away at the age of 18. The reason why it wouldn’t be considered ‘moving out’ is that nobody knew about her plan as she left her home at night.

What was the reason behind such harsh measures?

Rousey remembers every detail, about why she left, vividly. She recalls how her life decisions were always controlled by the people around her. This prepped up a frustrated teen Ronda Rousey to pack her bags and leave.
