Joe Rogan is undoubtedly one of the most coveted names in the UFC. The former martial artist is also a seasoned comedian and a former TV presenter. Rogan enjoys unmatched fame owing to his multi directions before the camera. His podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, is one of the most viewed podcasts in the entire collection of Spotify. It has also attracted some of the biggest celebrities of modern times, including Twitter and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
‘JRE’ is also lauded by fans due to the fact that the show has no fixed agenda and the discussion often keeps shifting from one topic to another. In a recent episode, a fellow stand-up comedian and his long-time friend, Bert Kreischer, joined Rogan. The duo talked about a volley of issues, including a conversation about Dr. Manhattan. Rogan was asked whether he had watched the TV show on it or not. The former martial artist replied that he distanced himself from it after watching just one episode.

Rogan talked about why he gave up on the TV show Dr. Manhattan. He presented his opinion, stating that the guy cast as Dr. Manhattan wasn’t a perfect fit for the role.
He iterated, “Look at the regular guy from the show. I’m mean he’s just not built right. Dr. Manhattan is supposed to be like the perfect Greek god sculpted out of granite and glows and he’s a god. He’s not a human with a t-shirt on.”
He derided the snap from the Dr. Manhattan TV show which came up, featuring the misfit actor in a t-shirt.
He stated, “But that guy” as Kreischer burst out laughing. He was also apparently in support of Rogan‘s statement. Kreischer remarked, “That’s stupid. That’s dumb”.
Rogan gave his visualization of Dr. Manhattan, stating, “Dr. Manhattan looks like a bodybuilder. I mean, he’s the perfect specimen of humanity and a god. He can appear on other planets and build castles. You can’t put a regular dude.”
The 55-year-old also gave his choice for the cast of Dr. Manhattan, stating, “If you had someone like The Rock play, Dr. Manhattan. Ok, I’ll buy that. That’s what he’s built like. He’s built like a superhero. But you can’t have like a regular guy.” There would probably be very few who would contradict Rogan on this.
Rogan had previously accused The Rock of using PEDs
Rogan stated for, Abdul-Mateen II, the actor playing Dr. Manhattan, “That guy need to do some squats and needs to go to Iron paradise with The Rock.”
Although in this episode Rogan carried a tone of appreciation for Dwayne Johnson‘s physique, he had also criticized The Rock previously. In one of the previous episodes of JRE, the fitness entrepreneur and YouTuber, Derek, from ‘More Plates More Dates’, joined Rogan. The two conversed about the awesome physiques of movie stars and what they went through to achieve them.
Rogan and Derek both were of the same opinion that it was impossible to maintain a super-jacked physique like The Rock without the usage of steroids.

The former Fear Factor host laid stress on the fact that The Rock was 50 years old and it was unnatural for anyone to look that jacked at 50, even with a proper workout.
