Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka showed their determination at UFC 303 and ‘Poatan‘ once again won the match against ‘The Czech Samurai’ in the 205-pound title. The duo had already clashed at UFC 295 last year and it had resulted in a second-round knockout for Pereira. However this time the latter delivered a jaw drop in head kick KO to beat his opponent and win his light heavyweight title.

Despite replacing McGregor due to his injury on very short notice both fighters performed exponentially. Interestingly both of them have their methods of training before the fight and have certain rituals that they follow. Prochazka likes to test his limits by rubbing poison ivy on his body or not having food and water for three days while Pereira has his rituals like shaving his head or coupled with another interesting habit.

There is the latest video that shows him using ZYN and putting it inside his mouth before the fight as a ritual. The two-division title holder was seen using a Zyn Nicotine pouch in a video and even helping Nina do the same as a part of the ritual. Nina Marie Danielle shared the hilarious movement backstage following his victory in UFC 303. She tried out the nicotine patch on her lower lip as ‘Poatan’ showed her and this video got the fans riled up.

Aidan Lubin shared snapshots from the video where the fighter is seen taking a nicotine pouch below his lips and keeping it there. This is also apparently a part of his ritual just like his practice of shaving his head or donning the costume of his tribe during faceoffs. Fans were quick to react and had some interesting comments on this.

One follower wrote “wtf is that?”, while another said, ”He might be top 3 MMA and top 3 funny of all time,” A follower pointed out how he gave the most massive KO of the night with Zyn in his mouth. They said, “Imagine he just ko’d Jiri with Zyns in his mouth.” Now there was a complaint from Prochazka that he believed that Pereira called on spirits in rituals he did before his fights to beat his opponents. He asked that the Brazilian abstain from these rituals for their rematch and asked him to have a clean fight. However, these comments did not sit well with Dana White and BKFC superstar Mike Perry.  Even the fans were lighthearted about it and one fan said, “Yeah Alex is one of the boys now for sure,” while another made a hilarious pun writing, “Zynsational performance.”

Mike Perry had observed that the ‘Czech Samurai’ channeled energy and vibes that he got from the crowd to get motivated and fight inside the octagon. He also took a jab at the fighter and said that he should channel all his energy so that Pereira would not emerge victorious again. ‘Platinum’ advised Prochazka to forget the occult things and concentrate on his sparring.  

Even fans were not thinking of this as anything occult and one fan even asked ZYN to sponsor Pereira. They wrote, “ZYN needs to Sponsor,” while another fan said, “Zyn to win.” A follower was astonished that he had two nicotine patches inside his mouth and said, “Already had 2 in there?” This is not the first time that the fans have seen Alex Pereira having a nicotine pouch. He had uploaded a story of the product and UFC Stats had reshared saying that, “We, the United States of America, officially recognize Alex Pereira as an American Citizyn.” The fans were hilarious about this incident and it seems like they still are.
