UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has been a dominant force for the entire duration of his run in the UFC. Fans of ‘The Last Stylebender’ would know that Adesanya has had a credentialed career in combat sports prior to his UFC stint. Chiefly, he’s a lifelong martial artist and is arguably the best kickboxer on the entire UFC roster.
Adesanya showcased his kickboxing skills recently when he made a public appearance surrounded by several fans. Adesanya squared up against the ‘Dragon Punch’ punching bag machine and ended up breaking the machine with a thunderous kick. ‘Izzy’ took two attempts on the machine and ended up dislocating the punching bag off its axle support during the second attempt.

Israel Adesanya vs Robert Whittaker 2: Who walks away as the victor?
Adesanya is undefeated as a middleweight and has successfully managed to thwart several top contenders who challenged him. Despite his toughness, Vettori was no match for Israel Adesanya’s superior striking and efficient takedown defense.

Adesanya is likely set to face his biggest challenge when he rematches Robert Whittaker at UFC 271. ‘The Last Stylebender’ won their first fight with ease, however, fans project a much harder outing in the second go-around. Whittaker has beaten everyone he’s faced in recent years, barring his loss to Adesanya at UFC 243.
‘The Reaper’s last loss came all the way back in 2014 and he’s looked at by some as the second-best fighter in the 185-pound division. He’s pushed back against top fighters like Jared Cannonier, Darren Till, and most recently, Kelvin Gastelum. ‘Bobby Knuckles’ has gone the distance with all the aforementioned opponents and clawed his back to a title shot.
The fight is expected to play out at range for the early portions of the fight, and many fans believe wrestling will be a deciding factor. Whittaker has shown a renewed focus in the grappling department, and he may look to execute those skills against Adesanya.
