No UFC fan can stay oblivious to the Hasbulla Magomedov and Abdul Rozik squabble. Both the young internet sensations have been engaged in a war for a while. Their square-off video had previously gone viral, and many fans were interested in seeing them actually fight.

Both Hasbulla and Rozik seemed interested in a bout with each other. However, because of sponsorship issues, it did not materialize. Since then, a lot of rumors have been flying around about their potential bout in the ring.

It seems that a fight between them will take place soon. According to rumors, a Hasbulla versus Abdu Rozik fight has been sold to the UFC by Tamaaev. Hence, MMA fans all over the world might get the chance to see a very unusual fight take place next year. Of course, UFC is yet to announce whether this bout will actually take place.

Hasbulla and Rozik both have Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD). This explains their childlike appearance. However, Hasbulla and Rozik are around 18 years old. Both are well-known among the MMA community because of their enthusiasm for the sport.

In fact, Hasbulla is known as ‘Mini Khabib’ and shares a close friendship with the retired champion. Rozik, too, has been spotted with several UFC and boxing athletes.

Their love for combat sports and a common disorder seems to have pitted them against each other. However, if this fight takes place, there is a specific concern that the promotion would have to look at.

Is Hasbulla Magomedov versus Abdu Rozik ethical?

The potential fight has also raised several concerns. Months ago, the bout was criticized by Russia’s Dwarf Athletic Association. The head of the association has called the bout “unethical” and “wrong”. The main concern was that people might not consider the bout as a serious one. It would be just to entertain people and to laugh at.

Furthermore, many believe that there might not be any potential for further growth for Hasbulla and Rozik. Hence, another concern the association raised was that the fight would just happen because money was being invested into it by viewers.

Thus, if UFC plans on making this fight happen, taking these concerns into account might be a good idea.
