Conor McGregor is intensely preparing for his much-awaited fight against Dustin Poirier. The pair is all set to collide at the UFC 264 main event on June 11th. The ‘Notorious’ one has been sharing many photos and videos of him preparing for the match.

In one of his latest videos, the former 2-division champion was seen running on a treadmill at top speed.

We always knew McGregor for his speed inside the Octagon and this video proves that he has lost none of it. McGregor has been working extremely hard after he came up short against Poirier the last time. McGregor even shared a picture of him captioned, ‘Jacked and loaded, what’s next?’

McGregor’s hard work seems to have paid off; for we can see a real improvement in his physique. During his previous fight against Poirier, McGregor didn’t really look in great physical shape. Although we can see that the ‘Notorious’ one is significantly fitter and better prepared.

According to McGregor’s coaches, all the muscle that the fighter has put on has increased his power a lot. John Kavanagh had talked about how all this extra power will make McGregor very dangerous against ‘The Diamond’.

What happened in the earlier fights between Conor McGregor and Poirier

The fight between McGregor and Poirier at UFC 264 is going to be the third between the fighters. The pair first faced each other at the UFC 178 back in 2014, McGregor had won that fight via a Round 1 KO. Since then, people had been craving for a rematch between the two talented fighters and they got their reward at UFC 257.

McGregor and Poirier’s rematch at UFC 257 was touted to be one of the best fights of the night, and although the fight ended in the 2nd round, it was great to watch. This time around, Poirier had the last laugh as he beat ‘Notorious’ with a 2nd-round KO.

With the score settled at 1-1, a third fight between the two was widely anticipated. Finally, the UFC announced a third fight and we cannot wait to see how this epic rivalry comes to an end.
