Joe Rogan has opposed the idea of inviting the former President of the United States, Donald Trump, to his $200 million worth podcast, on multiple occasions. However, his opinion seems to be on the verge of change. The UFC color commentator recently revealed that he was indeed curious to know about certain things through the ex-President’s perspective.
In a previous interview with Lex Friedman, Rogan claimed that he was not a fan of Trump. But all that is changing. In a take against Ron DeSantis, he claimed that the politician can never compete with the likes of Trump. The JRE host was, in fact, intrigued by Trump’s machines. But would he invite the former President to his show?

During episode #2016 of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, the podcaster had a wholesome talk with Patrick Bet-David. During the conversation, the author and fellow podcaster asked Rogan when he was going to invite Trump on the show. Rogan replied with a sneaky “I don’t know” which was followed by a “maybe”.
But he couldn’t hide the fact that he was curious about a lot of things. He replied, “It would be interesting to hear his perspective on a lot of things. I would like to know, what is it like when you actually get into office? I would like to know things like, what is it like versus perception? What is it actually like when you get in that building? Like what are you greeted with? When do you know that people are f***ing with you?”
He further listed a few more things that he wanted to know about, including insights from the Bill Hicks joke to the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Rogan justified his curiosity by saying, “Because it’s very clear that it’s not as simple as elected representatives that are doing the will of the people.”

In a previous episode of JRE, Rogan and his guest, James Gaffigan, talked about how the Republicans were beginning to stand against DeSantis. Although the JRE host commended the Governor of Florida for managing the COVID-19 situation, he claimed that he could not compete against Trump.
Rogan was indeed blunt with his political views, as he stood beside Trump despite having a bitter past with him. Nevertheless, with the recent JRE episode, the world seemingly got a hint of whether or not Trump would sit beside Rogan for a talk.
