Joe Rogan and Post Malone sat together in the #2018 episode of JRE. During the chat, Malone detailed how he went through depersonalization after smoking. Depersonalization is a disorder that separates people from reality and the strangest part of the disorder is that it makes people feel like they are viewing their lives in a movie. While talking about his experience, Malone said, “A lot of my friends from smoking weed, it’s like almost like a depersonalization thing. I feel like for the longest time since I had smoked one bad joint and for the longest time ever since then felt like I have been almost like watching my life happen instead of actually like living it. Does that make sense?”

After listening to Malone Rogan said, ” It does. If you have like an episode like if you smoked one bad joint and you got way too high and you had like a break like some surface schizophrenic break, something strange episode.” As the conversation progressed Malone confessed that it has happened to him a lot of times. Rogan was confused and asked, “Still to this day?” To which Malone replies, “To this day. A lot of the time, Yeah.”When the fans came across the conversation between the two, they came forward to give some friendly suggestions that could help Malone get rid of these experiences.

Some of the fans believed that depersonalization was highly linked to anxiety and one can get rid of it by adopting a healthy lifestyle. Few other fans opened up about experiencing the same due to anxiety.

  • “I’ve had this happen, but not from weed. I attribute it mostly to anxiety. It is a very, very strange feeling.”

Most of the fans asked the rapper to stop using addictive substances. They also suggested he work out, meditate, and spend time with nature.
