With the conclusion of UFC 281, the internet and UFC world overflowed with Nate Diaz and Dillon Danis’ altercation. The free agent, Diaz, reportedly slapped Danis after UFC 281.

A video surfaced on Twitter that showed Nate Diaz landing a massive palm on Danis. Soon after UFC 281 events. However, this is not the first time the UFC fighter got himself involved in altercations with other fighters and their team.

Nate Diaz found his fame after he defeated Conor McGregor by submission, in UFC 196. Without a doubt, the fighter appeared more often on the internet, thereafter. He defeated Tony Ferguson, as well. However, he became infamous for his scuffles.

Nate Diaz slapped Conor McGregor’s teammate

Diaz reportedly slapped the Bellator fighter and Conor McGregor’s training partner, Dillon Danis, outside the Madison Square Garden. The incident occurred right after the conclusion of UFC 281. A Twitter user uploaded footage of the altercation on their social network. However, no reason could be identified for the altercation until now. 

Thankfully, the MMA manager, Audie Attar, came between the two and helped calm the situation. The crowd gasped and had their hearts in their mouths as the altercation seemed to worsen. However, the two fighters went their separate ways soon. Thereby ending the scuffle.

Surprisingly, Dana White didn’t even flinch when he was questioned about the scuffle. In fact, White revealed that Nate Diaz asked him for six tickets to UFC 281 at the very last moment. However, the arena was booked to the fullest and White was unable to respond to Diaz’s request. 

Nate Diaz’s previous altercations

Surprisingly, this is not the first time Diaz had a scuffle. Back in October, he slapped a man from Jake Paul’s team, prior to Paul’s fight with Anderson Silva. Without a doubt, the footage of Diaz slapping Paul’s teammate went viral on the internet. Nonetheless, ‘Problem Child’ called out Nate Diaz after his victory over Silva. 

Nate and Nick Diaz also had an all-out brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov during ‘World Series of Fighting’, back in 2015. Although there was an ongoing fight in the cage, all eyes turned to Nurmagomedov and the Diaz brothers.

Later on, ‘The Eagle’ took to Twitter and wrote, “Last night I was confronted by 2 thugs. I’m a professional mixed martial artist. I’m not a street fighter.” The former UFC champion tagged the UFC president and Lorenzo Fertitta in his post.
