Despite the many doubts surrounding him, Conor McGregor appears to be fully zoned in on his TUF coaching. The Irishman is competing against potential future opponent Michael Chandler on season 31 of the popular show. The show will begin airing on May 3o and will last through August. Tradition dictates that Chandler and McGregor compete in the octagon shortly after.

Recently, news broke that Chandler was bringing in former UFC star and Bellator MMA heavyweight champion Ryan Bader to his coaching team. While Chandler added the experienced fighter to his coaching team, McGregor would not sit idle and watch.

The former double champion brought in an expert of his own to give some valuable lessons to his team members. It was none other than the former UFC welterweight title challenger and his fellow teammate from Paradigm Sports, Stephen ‘Wonderboy‘ Thompson.

McGregor and Thompson shared pictures a few days ago about their meeting at TUF. Now the Irishman has shared a brief clip of him working with Thompson on the show. Unsurprisingly, fans were buzzed to see the dynamic strikers dictate lessons to the contestants.

In the post he shared on Instagram, Conor McGregor wrote, “Working with the great Steve Thompson. Givin’ back to the game!” The pair was demonstrating how to roll under a punch and counter with another one. In the clip, we can see McGregor enthusiastically throw his patented left hooks repeatedly as a docile Thompson mimics the opponent’s actions.
