While McGregor seems pumped up for his return, it is still not clear whom he will be facing in the octagon. The fighter surely has some good options on the table. Another fight against his arch-rivals, Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier, could be a possibility. A fight against Tony Ferguson would be a big one.
Further, Michael Chandler seems interested in a bout against him. Besides this, it is quite possible that fans could also see McGregor fight against Charles Oliveira for the title. However, if he does bag the title fight, many UFC fans, especially Justin Gaethje fans, would be disappointed.
