Fight fans around the world are gearing up to be spoiled at UFC 295 as the main event features two of the most exciting strikers in MMA. Jiri Prochazka(29-3-1) and Alex Pereira(8-2) will be facing off for the vacant UFC Light-heavyweight title.
Though having a decorated career in kickboxing, Pereira is relatively new in the world of MMA. Whereas, his opponent has 33 professional MMA fights under his name. Prochazka has won 29 of them and finished 25 of those fights. Here’s what ‘Poatan’ had to say about his opponent.

In an interview with Shak MMA, the Stone-Faced killer opened up on the dangers of fighting Prochazka. Pereira stated, “The thing that makes him dangerous is all the experience he has”. Pereira doesn’t really look fazed by the experience, but he probably knows Prochazka’s experience will bring in some benefits.
Alex Pereira also says that he is by no means overlooking Jiri Prochazka, as he states, “He’s a seasoned fighter he is dangerous but that helps me not overlook the guy”. The Brazilian seems like he’s undoubtedly coming into the fight without cutting any corners. And rightfully so, as both fighters could finish one other if they don’t give their all toward the fight.
‘Poatan’ is undoubtedly one of the scariest fighters in the division right now. However, his opponent has an all-rounded skillset and an unorthodox way of fighting. But the question is, how will one get an edge over the other?

We can say for certain that it is impossible for either fighter to intimidate each other. Striking-wise, both fighters are incredibly talented. But given Pereira’s kickboxing background, he will have the edge when it comes to the technical aspect of fighting.
However, Prochazka is pretty unconventional when it comes to his striking. If Pereira doesn’t figure out the Puzzle that is Jiri Prochazka, it will most likely be a long night for ‘Poatan’.
