UFC CEO Dana White isn’t an actor, but there are times when he does act, at least on podcasts. Back in February, while promoting UFC 298, White made multiple appearances on various such shows. One such podcast where White made an appearance was the Howie Mandel podcast. White created a lot of buzz when he walked out from the set in just 30 seconds.

However, it is now revealed that it was all a part of the plan. White appeared on the ‘Flagrant’ podcast and, while speaking to Andrew Schulz, gave out the exact details of the event.

Why did Dana White walk out of the Howie Mandel podcast?

After successfully getting roasted at the Tom Brady Roast by comedian Andrew Schulz, White finally appeared in his podcast. While on the show, the UFC head honcho spoke on multiple topics, which included his journey to the top. However, the 54-year-old did take out the time to share the exact details of his infamous walkout. He said, “So what happened was I did the Sage Steele podcast when she called me Rogan? I love her. She asked me to be her first guest on the podcast. So I go out there.”

This is where he first met Howie Mandel, who owned the studio. White then went on to appreciate Mandel and said, “He’s involved in all kinds of s..t. He owns social media companies and all this other stuff. Howie Mandel owns a lot of s..t that people don’t realize”. However, what turned out to be a friendly chat later turned into a call for help.

White said, “So we’re walking through and stuff he goes. Would you do me a favor? And I said ‘Yeah, what’s up?’ and he’s like ‘Would you come in get up and walk off my podcast?’ I go ‘I would be f..ng honored to walk off your podcast because I am so f…ng sick of doing podcasts.’ So we go in there and do it and he’s like ‘Take it to the grave.'” 

Hopefully, anybody listening to the podcast will finally get to know that Mandel did nothing wrong that day. The 54-year-old has been vocal about his dislike of appearing in a podcast. Such is his hatred that he is yet to appear even on the famous Joe Rogan Experience podcast. However, he has now revealed that he will soon make an appearance at the Spotify chart topper.

Dana White reveals the details of his first appearance at the JRE podcast

UFC CEO Dana White and Joe Rogan have come way a long way in their professional journey. Before its rise to the top, the UFC faced a lot of hardships. However, there was one constant figure who worked tirelessly to help the sport grow, and that was Joe Rogan.

The 56-year-old used his knowledge of the sport to help people know more about it. This is what has impressed White the most, and he is now ready to leave the UFC if something wrong happens to Rogan under the corporate regime. Despite having such a special bond, White is yet to appear on JRE.

However, it now seems that the fans will definitely witness him on the famous podcast. While speaking to Schulz, White narrated a conversation which took place with Rogan. He said, “I was telling f…ng Rogan yesterday. I was in LA and Rogan hit me up and said, ‘Hey would you be on my podcast?’”. While White did reveal that he had no idea of what a podcast was, he assured he would be there. He said, “Yeah, I’ll come do your podcast. He is the biggest f..ng podcaster in the world.”
