One of the biggest controversies that UFC president Dana White had found himself at the center of, was the numerous allegations made regarding low fighter pay. While White himself, alongside a few other UFC stars disputed that, the damage had been done – to an extent. Everyone wanted to know exactly how much White paid his fighters and whether the rumors were true or not.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul too had made claims that Dana White pays his fighters poorly. He even offered to create a fighter’s union to challenge that and change things. However, the UFC president had justified why he pays his fighters what he pays them. And now, to answer the questions that all the fans have been asking – a Twitter account uploaded a picture of how much each fighter who was part of the UFC 292 fight cards, got paid.

UFC 292 fighter’s pay revealed – Dana White rumors confirmed?

UFC 292 was a really successful fight card for the UFC. The event raked in a lot of revenue and sources suggest that $7,250,000 was paid by the UFC just in fighter salaries. However, UFC 292 saw the dynamic of power change hands in the Bantamweight division. Sean O’Malley defeated Aljamain Sterling and was crowned the new champ. There were other thrilling fights that night as well and now, the fans will get to know what the purse was for the different fighters, under different cards.

According to the reports, Zhang Weili made more than the headlines, Sean O’Malley and Aljamain Sterling.

Dana White has, time and again, explained that he pays his fighters fairly. He mentioned he didn’t want to dilute the promotion and bring in a lot of money because, according to him, that is what went wrong with the sport of boxing.

Fighters within the promotion roster and from different sports and promotions have criticized White and his pay scale. Francis Ngannou, the former HW champ of the UFC, is currently signed to PFL and expected to be making a lot of money. Former UFC Lightweight fighter Nate Diaz made one of his biggest paydays during his boxing bout against Jake Paul. Could this data go against everything that Dana White has claimed?

According to official reports, former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor is the highest-paid fighter in the promotion. In his last UFC fight, against Dustin Poirier, the Irishman’s purse was declared to be $10,022,000. However, Dana White has never been comfortable with the idea of UFC fighters foraying into boxing.

McGregor’s old rival, Nate Diaz currently made a guaranteed $500,000 from his boxing fight against Jake Paul. However, his estimated total purse from that fight is estimated to be somewhere between $15 million to $20 million. Former UFC HW champ Francis Ngannou, who is currently preparing to fight the undefeated WBC champ Tyson Fury, is expected to make north of $10 million from his fight against Fury. This was confirmed by Jake Paul.

With such huge earnings coming from boxing and crossover fights, it is only natural that more and more UFC fighters would want to foray into boxing. But will Dana White do anything about this long-standing accusation against him?
