UFC’s Middleweight champ and one of their most popular fighters, Israel Adesanya, is gearing up to fight one of UFC’s controversial fighters, Sean Strickland. Adesanya, who was originally supposed to fight Dricus Du Plessis, is disappointed that he didn’t get the fight against Du Plessis, but plans on making a statement with a win over Strickland.
Dricus Du Plessis suffered an injury during his fight against Robert Whittaker and had to be benched for the Adesanya fight. At UFC 293, Strickland is looking to defeat Adesanya and now, he is training with one of UFC’s most dangerous fighters and former opponent of the current HW champ, Jon Jones.

Israel Adesanya is laying down his Middleweight championship title belt on the line against Sean Strickland. The two fighters are going to lock horns on 10 September, at UFC 293. The fight is set to take place at the Qudos Bank Arena in Australia.
However, it seems Strickland found himself in a predicament right when he landed. Apparently, Strickland had been detained at the Australian airport for about 2 hours and couldn’t get past an ‘invisible line’. He then proceeded to criticize the gun laws in Australia.
With only 5 days left till the fight takes place, fans are eager to see if ‘Tarzan’ can be the fighter to put a stop to Adesanya’s dominant UFC Middleweight reign. Although the landing has been tricky for Strickland, maybe the controversial fighter can turn the game around and shock the entire world.
