Conor McGregor landed in hot waters after the recent controversies following his appearance at a Miami Heat game in the NBA finals. To make matters worse, the former champion reportedly missed the deadline to enter the USADA testing pool to be eligible to compete in 2023. Following the news, the Irishman has received severe backlash from fans for not putting in the effort to make the 2023 return possible.

Meanwhile, McGregor seems to be enjoying himself and shared snaps of his Father’s Day celebrations with his family. Further, he also shared a few snaps of his training session with an old friend.

McGregor’s friend and teammate Dillon Danis has made a surprise appearance on his timeline. Danis gained notoriety after his role in McGregor’s beef with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The Jiu-Jitsu black belt is also a polarizing figure, thanks to his troll persona on Twitter. Hence, fans let McGregor have a piece of their mind after the recent social media post.

Conor McGregor reunited with Dillon Danis

While things may look bleak at the moment, there is a possibility that McGregor could return in 2023 and face Chandler. While many assume he missed the USADA enrollment deadline, there’s a chance that he did not. There is also a provision to grant him an exemption from the 6-month waiting period before competing (which USADA claims McGregor isn’t eligible for).
