Conor McGregor’s current legal situation has clearly exposed him to harsh criticism from fans and peers alike. After the Irishman was found liable for more than $250,000 in damages the plaintiff Nikita Hand by the Dublin High Court, Islam Makhachev, the current lightweight champion, lashed out at the Dubliner. Makhachev appeared to have been anticipating this day for quite some time, as he posted on Twitter, “It was a matter of time till this filthy b—h be exposed.”

This led many to speculate about an upcoming fight between the two. One where Islam Makhachev brings his personal feud with the Irishman into the Octagon. On the other hand, McGregor would get the chance to take revenge against team Khabib for this personal comment. However, a member of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team has discounted McGregor’s in this fight, revealing how defeating the Irishman won’t be an easy task for Makhachev.
During a recent interview, Javier Mendez gave his insights on a future Islam Makhachev vs. Conor McGregor fight. And contrary to popular belief, coach Mendez believes that fighting ‘The Notorious’ would be a difficult task for Makhachev. He said, “Conor would not be an easy (night’s) work for Islam because you have to respect the man. He’s got a lot of experience, and the only way you make it an easy night is because you train hard. But it will never be an easy night with a guy like Conor.”

Well, there actually is no denying that the former UFC double champion isn’t a fighter one can count out no matter who he faces. But while Coach Mendez believes that Conor McGregor still has it in him, one man who would never bet in his favor is Khabib Nurmagomedov. The Dagestani has a personal feud with ‘The Notorious,’ and, like Makhachev, he also took a jab at McGregor after the verdict.

Khabib Nurmagomedov takes a shot at Conor McGregor
It has been about six years since Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor squared off at UFC 229. However, there is still major resentment between the two combatants. After all, their feud featured multiple controversial moments that left a terrible taste in both their mouths. One such memorable moment was when McGregor mentioned Nurmagomedov’s deceased father.
So after the court ruled against Conor McGregor, Nurmagomedov took the chance to take his revenge by taking a personal jibe of his own. An account on X called ‘Convictmcgregor’ created the cryptocurrency “$CONVICT” after McGregor’s ruling and started advertising it on social media. Shortly after it went viral, McGregor’s arch-nemesis came across it and saw an opportunity to mock the Irishman. ‘The Eagle’ responded to ‘Convictmcgregor’, saying, “Good job guys, you have my full support, this guy deserves punishment.”

Well, it looks like there is still a lot of hate for Conor McGregor on the Dagestani side. However, it would be interesting to see if ‘The Notorious’ decides to fire back at Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev. What do you think? Was it right for Nurmagomedov to make the comments?
