The Arkansas native recently revealed that he met his wife, Erin Handlow after she saw him on Carlson’s show.

“We named him Tucker because me and my wife met and because I did an interview with Tucker Carlson… Bro, it got millions of views,” Bryce Mitchell told Daniel Cormier before his UFC 310 fight against Kron Gracie. Moreover, the 30-year-old also credited the 55-year-old media personality for being able to have a family of his own, which was a pretty unexpected revelation.

Mitchell claims that Tucker Carlson is the reason why he has been able to have a family and a child. He believes this wouldn’t have happened because he wouldn’t have been able to strike a chord with some, especially due to the nature of his personality. “It was my destiny. Brother, I wouldn’t have a kid and a wife without the interview because I’m a very unique character,” ‘Thug Nasty’ added.

When he met his wife through the show, they started exchanging messages online and one of the things they bonded on was their “hatred for government,” and in the few months to come, they started dating and soon after, got married.

“I go onto your show, I get millions of views, the most exposure I’ve ever had in my life, and this really good looking woman from Pennsylvania message me on the internet and she says, ‘Hey’, I said, ‘Hey’, we start talking and we bonded over our hatred of the government. And now, that woman is my wife,” Mitchell told Tucker Carlson in their second meeting.
