‘Who the F**k Let Sal Back’- UFC Judge Sal D’Amato Receives Heat From MMA Fans Again for Shocking Scores at UFC Vegas 49

Priscila Cachoeira and Ji Yeon Kim delivered a stunning fight on the main card of UFC Vegas 49. After three rounds of a gruesome war, ‘Zombie Girl’ had done enough, and the judges scored all three rounds in her favor.

Unfortunately, the judges’ decision didn’t convince the UFC community. And UFC judge Sal D’Amato took all the heat from the fans. Furthermore, this is not the first time Sal D’Amato has been held accountable for wrong scores.

Earlier at UFC Vegas 47, D’Amato received backlash from the fans for scoring three out of five rounds in the favor of Jack ‘Joker’ Hermansson. Whereas Sean ‘Tarzan’ Strickland dominated the majority of the rounds.

Similarly, at UFC Vegas 49, even though Kim looked pretty dominant in the third round, D’Amato gave the third round to the Brazilian. Meanwhile, the other two judges all scored the third round in Cachoeira’s favor.

This agitated the fans, and many quickly took to social media to express their frustration over wrong scoring by UFC judges. Here are a few reactions to the scorecard.

MMA fans roast Sal D’Amato on Twitter

Previously, many UFC fighters, including heavyweight Chris Daukaus, took a jibe at Sal D’Amato for his wrong scoring at UFC Vegas 47. However, the latter is at the gunpoint again after UFC Vegas 49.

Although Cachoeira looked better than Kim in the first two rounds, the latter clearly had the Brazilian in the third round, according to many fans. However, D’Amato’s scores shocked many fight fans.

“Also who the f*ck let sal back.” an agitated fan wrote in the comments.

“We know who they all had money on. Wouldn’t be Sal’s first time looking obvious like he bets on fights he judges.” Another user wrote while taking a jibe at the judge.

“Serious question, how does one become a judge? Seeing incompetence on the highest level makes me want to get certified to judge or ref.” One user chimed in to be the judge after numerous wrong decisions.

“Always sal d’tomato f*cking up my bets man how that idiot still has a job is a mystery to me.” Looks like someone lost his money in the fight.

“sal should be put in a ufc fight as punishment for his sh*tty judging.” Another user suggested a savage punishment for the judge.
