This has although, fallen on silent ears towards McGregor as Paul seems to have made little to no effect on him. In a recent interview with the Mirror during the attendance of Bellator 275, he was asked about Jake Paul’s last fight against Tyron Woodley.

This is what Conor McGregor had to say about it. “I wasn’t actually watching… It only got a couple thousand buys. I didn’t watch it. I saw it online.” McGregor answered midway when asked about a possible matchup against the 25-year-old American with a, “Who knows? Never say never.

Conor McGregor’s comeback to combat sports

During the Poirier fight, the Irishman’s last bout ended in a tragic and anti-climatic ankle break. After close to a seven-month hiatus, McGregor is expected to return to the octagon in July.

His return will likely be for a championship fight against current Lightweight champ Charles Oliveira. The Irishman’s options are far and wide. His undeniable brand and money-making abilities give him a clear path to choose either MMA or boxing.

As of now, Conor McGregor has made it clear that he wishes to return to the octagon in mid-2022.
