Meet Pete Hobold, Miranda Maverick’s husband

Maverick met her husband, Pete Hobold, back in 2020, and soon, she got married to him. The couple has been together ever since and their social media profiles have been blooming with their love for each other. According to his Instagram page, Hobold is a chemical researcher by profession. On top of that, he seemed pretty focused on leading a healthy and fit lifestyle. But apart from that, nothing is known about the flyweight star’s husband.

On 31st May 2024, Maverick took to Instagram and shared a picture of herself affectionately looking at her husband at a beach. She revealed that it was the date when the two first met about 4 years ago. Needless to say, the duo have been through some highs and lows which have strengthened their relationship. No doubt, she was grateful to have Hobold in her life.

In the caption, Maverick wrote, “in truth, many of my happiest moments have been with @progresswithpete from our wedding day to winning fights that changed my life to investing in property to buying our future home. We have both watched my family grow in maturity, size, and in their walk with God in the past few years as well.”

Does Miranda Maverick have children?

Maverick and Hobold, although are married for a long time now, haven’t really parented any children yet. But that doesn’t mean they do not want kids. It’s just that they wish to adopt a child after Maverick’s fight in Tampa. Talking to the Cageside Press, the flyweight contender said, “We’ve always wanted to adopt. We’ve talked about it since the first date pretty much, it was mentioned. We discussed it then and we’ve discussed it now. It’s been a long and scary and expensive journey, but we’re finally to the point where we will start matching, probably the day after the fight.”

There was a time when they wanted to parent their own genes. With further discussion, they came across a question: why were they trying to adopt if they thought they wouldn’t look at the child as their own? But that was in the past and the couple now has a new mindset. She continued, “We just want to have a better life for this child than maybe it would have had, and we’ll treat it just as if it was our own blood and our own genetics. And we’re very excited.”

Taking to Instagram back in November 2024, ‘Fear The’ Maverick revealed that she would be starting to look out for birth moms following the fight. Of course, the excitement around the household was palpable. All the couple hoped for was for the child and mother to be healthy and safe throughout the pregnancy.

But first, ‘Fear The’ Maverick would have to face Jamey-Lyn Horth at UFC on ESPN 63. Needless to say, Maverick would try her best to get another step closer to the women’s flyweight championship belt. Whatever the outcome of the bout, the 27-year-old flyweight and her husband would try to adopt a child and make their family complete.
