He shared, “Exactly 7 years ago – January 24th, 2013, I finally convinced a girl I had a crush on to go on a coffee date with me.”

The former Bellator lightweight champion explained in the post that Brie wasn’t interested in meeting him as she was focused on her work, and when she did agree to meet him, she chose a strategic time to have an automatic “out” in the situation. However, their first date at ‘Kaldis Coffee’ in Missouri ended up being, “…the last first date she’d ever go on.”
