Jhenny Andrade started her UFC career as a ring girl back in 2013. She started her career as a ring girl fairly new without any experience in it. Before her debut as a ring girl under the UFC, she was working as a journalist, television announcer, and reality show contestant. Andrade made her UFC debut at the UFC 163: Aldo vs. Koren Zombie weigh-in. She joined Camila Oliveira, who came on board as the UFC’s first Brazilian Octagon Girl.

Andrade clinched the title of best ring girl of the year 2016 at the MMA Awards, often dubbed as the Oscars of the sport. Remarkably, this marked her third nomination and subsequent win in the prestigious event. Andrade became the first Brazilian to win this award. Jhenny Andrade was born on ͏December 23, ͏1988, in ͏Ribeirão Preto, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Despite being a model, Andrade comes from ͏a family of athletes which persuaded her to follow ma͏rtial arts at a young age. Andrade’s father introduced her to jiu-jitsu at ͏the age of five. Subsequently, she attained a black belt in ͏Jiu-Jitsu and diligently pursued training in Muay Thai, Boxing͏, and Kickboxing͏. She proceed͏ed to participate in numero͏us mar͏tial ͏arts competitions, emerging vic͏toriou͏s in several championships held in Brazil.

Andrade’s influence helped her to start a career in modeling at the age of 18. It helped her land various modeling gigs including Miss Rodeo America, Miss Sao Paulo, and Miss Brazil World. Her talent and skill in both modeling and MMA were noticed by Dana White and soon her modeling career led her to become a UFC Octagon Girl. Her career made her gain more respect for the sport.

Jhenny Andrade likes to keep some parts of her life private, however, her relationship is not one of them. The UFC’s heartthrob is married to Youtuber, Caio Novaes (aka Ana Maria Brogi). The couple shared marriage vows on November 4, 2018, and exactly a year after her marriage, Andrade was blessed with a baby boy.

She took to her Instagram handle to announce that she is having a baby in late 2019. She wrote, “This is a very special moment in our lives. We will continue shooting many videos for you on YouTube. My work at UFC which I love so much will continue with love. There’s another fighter coming soon.”
