Who is Curtis Blaydes’ girlfriend? Does he have kids?

Blaydes and Wright have been together for over 7 years and are engaged to each other.

Despite all the support that he received from his loving family, there was a time when ‘Razor’ was afraid of winning. It’s not like he didn’t want to get his hands raised. It’s just that he dreaded the interview that came after. Intrigued? Let’s find out why!

Does Curtis Blaydes have a disability?

To answer the question above, Blaydes did have a bit of trouble with stutter. The neurologic disability built fear in Blaydes’ mind every time he won a fight. In a talk with The Denver Post, the heavyweight phenomenon said, “Initially, I dreaded the interviews more than I was nervous for the actual fight. It would be like, ‘Oh (damn), I won, now I’ve got to do an interview.’ And I had to get over that, because if you expect to win, that means you expect to do interviews.”

Blaydes was bullied as a child due to his stutter. But instead of giving in, he found ammunition for his motivation to train. He took up wrestling and excelled at it. His fight is not just against his opponents inside the Octagon, but also with the misconception that stutter was linked to lower intelligence. Needless to say, the heavyweight fighter, with his achievements inside the MMA cage, has pumped up his confidence and embraced the disability. Now, his only focus is the championship belt.
