Nate Diaz along with his brother Nick Diaz is a part of the Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu training facility. The facility is located in California and was founded by Cesar Gracie. The primary trainers of the academy are Matheus Andre, Alessandro Ferreira, Andre Freitas, Jake Shields and Richard Perez.

Nate Diaz and his team do believe the conventional aspects of training. However, the fighter has also been many times seen doing training in ways that aren’t necessarily associated with MMA fighters.

Diaz talked about how as in a Triathlon one needs to best at swimming, running and biking, the same goes for MMA. As for a MMA fighter to be great, he needs to be good at boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, etc.
Diaz has a great team with him that helps him train in ways that suit his style. Different coaches help Diaz improve different areas of his game. Richard Perez helps him with Boxing while Cesar Gracie focuses on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This helps Diaz in improving individual aspects of his game and makes him such a great fighter.
