UFC 263 is all set to be one of the best MMA events of the year. Therefore, there has been much talk regarding everyone involved with the event. One of the best fights of the night is going to be the main event between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori.

Adesanya is coming into the fight on the back of his first ever professional MMA loss. While Vettori is riding high on the back of 5 consecutive victories. Vettori and Adesanya have faced each other before at the UFC on Fox 29 event. Vettori lost that fight via a split decision and would love to get his revenge this time around.

Rafael Cordeiro is Marvin Vettori’s head coach and one of the prime reasons behind Vettori’s success. The Brazilian coach is the founder of Kings MMA and is known for training multiple MMA world champions. Few of Cordeiro’s most well-known students are Anderson Silva, Mauricio Rua, Wanderlei Silva, Rafael dos Anjos and Cris Cyborg.

Cordeiro was also a MMA fighter himself and has a professional record of (4-2). Cordeiro is also the two-time recipient of the Coach of the year award at the world MMA awards.

Recently Cordeiro shared his views on Vettori’s upcoming fight against Adesanya, he said. ” We are super excited, we are grateful to the UFC, for the opportunity they gave us. To put our kid to fight for the belt, expect a great fight, expect a great war. Italy is gonna have your first UFC champ.”

Led by Rafael Cordeiro, Marvin Vettori has a great team behind him, which works very hard for his success. Vettori also appreciates his team and is never short of praising them. “When I work hard for them, what I can promise for them is a war.”

Vettori would love to become the first Italian UFC champion. And with such a great coach and team behind him, it will come as no surprise if he becomes the new UFC Middleweight champion at UFC 263.
