Bear Degidio isn’t just a podcast host, he’s a man with multiple talents. From a marketing mastermind to an entrepreneur and a world-class paintball ambassador, he’s worn many hats throughout his career. The 34-year-old California native has served as the Partner, CMO, and Head of Brand Marketing at Jaxxon, a luxury jewelry company since 2020.

But his influence stretches far beyond that. A veteran in brand-building, Degidio founded Hunny Group in 2018, a creative and marketing agency with high-profile clients like Costco and Red Bull. Beyond the field, he also founded Giant Tactical, a paintball brand that started as a small apparel line and evolved into an international enterprise. His expertise in branding and marketing helped him collaborate with major companies like Carl’s Jr., 7-Eleven, and Sport Chalet.

Now, with his deep business acumen and larger-than-life personality, Degidio has brought a fresh voice to the Jaxxon Podcast, mixing MMA insights with his signature high-energy approach.

All about Bear Degidio’s family and background

Before he was building brands and hosting viral interviews, Bear Degidio was just a kid obsessed with paintball. As mentioned above, his love for the sport started young—at only eight years old, he was already competing. But his connection to paintball runs even deeper.

His father, Gio Degidio, is credited as the creator of tournament paintball’s fast-paced format, speedball. His mother, Dana Degidio, worked as a stylist at The Gates Salon and Spa, giving Bear a unique mix of creative and competitive influences growing up.

While paintball has been a defining part of his life, Degidio’s entrepreneurial drive has taken him beyond the field. He manages multiple businesses, including Men Grooming Co., a luxury men’s grooming brand, and Loose Thoughts, a clothing brand featured in Urban Outfitters. His diverse ventures even landed him in the Chief Keef x Viceland documentary.

What happened between Bear Degidio and Bryce Mitchell?

When UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell appeared on the Jaxxon Podcast, there was an inkling among some fans that it may spiral into controversy. And after his shocking comments about Adolf Hitler, the interview took a turn that left fans stunned—and ultimately led to the episode’s removal from YouTube.

Mitchell attempted to clarify his previous remarks, but Degidio wasn’t having it. The podcast host stated, “Now, we’re not going to give you a platform today to talk about anything that even remotely supports that. We’re not going to give you a platform to justify what you said.”

The internet erupted with backlash, slamming the decision to air the podcast in the first place. The controversy forced Jaxxon to delete the episode, but as with anything on the internet, clips quickly spread across social media.

UFC veteran Jake Shields then took to X and stated, “I know and have talked to all 3 guys since the podcast It was not cool how Bryce was treated but Bryce holds no ill will Bear should apologize to Bryce and redo the podcast.”

Either way, the podcast has cemented itself as a space for raw, unfiltered conversations, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. In the end, Bear Degidio may have built his career in paintball and marketing, but his presence in MMA podcasting is impossible to ignore. With ‘Rampage’ Jackson by his side, he’s bringing a new flavor to the scene. But what do you think? Is Jaxxon on its way to becoming the next big thing in MMA media?
