All you need to know about Alex Pereira’s next Fight, UFC 287
On April 8th, at UFC 287 in Miami-Dade Arena, Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya will meet for their highly anticipated rematch in Dana White‘s promotion. This will mark the fourth time the two fighters will be stepping into the combat sports arena against each other. In all three of their previous outings, Pereira emerged victorious, and he is determined to maintain his winning streak this time around as well. For Adesanya, the stakes couldn’t be higher, as he will be challenging Pereira for the UFC middleweight title, which was snatched from him in their encounter at UFC 281.
Their history has made them arch-rivals in the promotion, and their rivalry has surpassed all barriers. Neither fighter has missed an opportunity to call out the other on anything that could favor them. Pereira, in particular, makes sure to strike the New Zealander’s nerves whenever possible, be it through trolling or making harsh remarks.
One of the greatest strengths of Alex Pereira is his incredible striking ability; especially his feared left-hook. Another advantage of Pereira is his excellent takedown defense, making him difficult to take down and control on the ground.

On the other hand, Israel Adesanya is a master of distance and timing. He has a background in kickboxing and is a former Glory middleweight champion. Adesanya’s greatest strength is his footwork and striking accuracy, which allows him to pick apart his opponents from a safe distance.
In terms of weaknesses, Pereira has been known to struggle with his cardio in longer fights, and his ground game is not as strong as his striking. Adesanya, on the other hand, has shown vulnerability in fights against opponents with powerful wrestling and grappling skills, as seen in his loss to Jan Blachowicz.
