This weekend would witness UFC’s first event after the astounding UFC 300. The stage is set ahead as Ariane Lipski faces young Karine Silva at the UFC fight night. Lipski or shall we rather say Da Silva has been amazing in her fights under the UFC and is currently a ranked fighter in the UFC women’s flyweight division.

Born on January 26, 1994, Ariane Lipski shares different cultures in her household. She was raised in the streets of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil, however, her grandparents are from Poland. They migrated from the European nations for security reasons. Lipski started her endeavoring in the world of MMA at a young age. She was fascinated by Muay Thai and made it her base for MMA.

Prior to her transition to MMA, Lipski became the Brazilian Muay Thai champion. Now the question arises, where did she train? ‘Queen of Violence primarily trains at the Rasthai gym, headed by Renato Rasta. She has been with the gym since 2012. Her Jiu-Jitsu coach is Jasmine Rocha. Her sparring partner is Damian Martinez.

She trains at Rasthai gym, however, she has affiliation and connections with other prominent teams such as Kings MMA, and Lioness Studio. She also trains with several who’s who as she rides a three-fight winning streak. Interestingly, Lipski was a part of the American Top Team but she left it soon after.
Why did the UFC flyweight leave the ‘American top team’ gym?
Ariane Lipski likes to add variation to her training regimen, there’s a reason why she is one of the best flyweights in the world. there was a time when Lipski was a part of the American Top Team, however, after some time she left the gym citing she needed some privacy in her training.

Amanda Nunes was a huge factor in why she decided to train at ‘ATT’ but after she left the gym, Lipski thought it was better for her to leave the team for now. In her own words, “There’s so many fighters that you have so many influence from other side. I feel like I needed more privates to find myself again, to find my game, to really understand. Okay, that works for me and that’s not”
