It’s a good day when Joe Rogan drops a podcast,” is one of the most common comments one can find in the JRE hosts’ comment section. But what if we tell you that this time, the same fans are turning their backs on the UFC commentator? Well, that is exactly what happened as Joe Rogan announced his new podcast episode with two new guests on social media. But why?

Well, a few days ago, Christian apologist Wesley Huff announced that he would be featuring as a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience, with the episode likely dropping within a week. As a result, fans were excited to see the man, who went viral for his debate against Billy Carson on the unfiltered platform for three hours, on JRE. However, the Rogan decided to release an episode with W. Bryan Hubbard and James Perry instead. Calling it his most important podcast episode ever, Joe Rogan talked about addiction and how ibogaine therapy can help fight against it. For the unaware, ibogaine is a natural substance found in a plant in Africa that helps people who are dealing with addiction. It is known for reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

Taking to the caption of his Instagram post, the JRE host wrote, “This was one of the most important podcasts I’ve ever done, especially if you, or someone you know have struggled with addiction. @governorperry and @w_bryan_hubbard joined me to discuss Ibogaine therapy, and the efforts that have been made to bring it to Texas and to get this miraculous plant off the schedule 1 list. It has a truly insane rate of success for helping people kick addictions, cure anxiety and depression, and even many neurological conditions. The podcast is available now on @spotify and everywhere else.”

Fans compared the appearance of the executive director at the REID Foundation’s American Ibogaine Initiative with that of retired professional wrestler Hacksaw Jim Duggan. They were quick to claim that Joe Rogan has decided to replace Wesley Huff with this appearance instead, as the fans wrote, “You replaced Huff with Hacksaw Jim Duggan?” “Finally got Hacksaw Jim Duggan on the podcast,” and “We got Hacksaw Jim Duggan before Wes Huff.”

However, not everyone in the comments was a fan of Wesley Huff. In fact, many didn’t even know who he was. Amazed by the number of comments mentioning the name, several users simply asked others to explain who this mystery man was. They asked in the comments, “Why tf is everyone asking for Wes Huff?” “Who is Wes Huff?” and “Who is this Huff guy?” Seeing from the majority of the comments, it would be best that Joe Rogan release his episode with Wesley Huff before dropping another episode to avoid such a reaction.
