According to certain sources, Michael ‘Venom’ Page trains under the tutelage of coach Alexis Demetriades. But he’s not the only coach who trains the 22-3 star. Some of his other coaches in the gym include Marios Demetriades, who takes care of his boxing training, then we have Paul Ivens, who’s Page’s second head coach, and Simeon Kyurchiev, who specializes in Kyokushin karate, which explains why his karate-influenced fighting style.

However, Michael Page’s fighting style isn’t something that others would try to replicate. Even the Englishman understands that people who invest in him aren’t big fans of his unique style. It’s weird [his fighting style] because my style carries some backlash. A lot of people are like, ‘Yeah, you look amazing,’ but they query how long I’m going to last,” Page stated in an interview with ESPN. “I think everyone is at that point with me. Sponsors say, ‘We like you and want to spend money on you, but we don’t know if you’ll last.”

Michael ‘Venom’ Page trains at the popular London Shootfighters gym, which is based in the UK’s capital city of London. Since the 37-year-old is also a London-born athlete, he has preferred to train in his hometown throughout his career, and in a gym, that unfortunately, has no other UFC fighter.

Despite not having any UFC colleagues around, many reputed fighters competing outside the UFC are Page’s teammates. That list includes the likes of Karlos Vémola, who’s vastly experienced and a former UFC fighter, Przemysław Mysiala, who’s a veteran as well, and Marius Žaromskis, among many others.

Well, having no UFC fighters as teammates hasn’t really affected Michael Page in a negative way. While he’s been called out for fighting compete ‘tomato cans’ his entire life, he showed tremendous capability in his last fight at UFC 303, even though he lost.
