It sparked a lot of controversy on social media and became an international issue of interest. UFC color commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan discussed this incident in a recent episode of the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’.

Famous comedian Ms. Pat joined him in the #1978 episode of the JRE podcast and talked about the recent controversial act carried out by the Dalai Lama.

The Dalai Lama recently attended an event in the North Indian city of Dharamshala. The city serves as the residence of the spiritual leader. Video footage showed that while talking to a child, the Dalai Lama asked him to “suck his tongue” during the event. The spiritual leader went ahead and kissed the minor, which many people found to be a very disturbing sight. This action sparked controversy around the world.

However, the spiritual leader’s office made an official statement regarding the incident, stating that the Dalai Lama wished to apologize for his actions. Joe Rogan comments on the Dalai Lama incident

The 55-year-old commentator and podcaster is known to be very vocal about his thoughts and opinions on certain issues around the world. During the recent JRE episode, he expressed his disgust after finding out what the religious leader did with a minor. Joe Rogan wondered where the boy’s parents were when the incident took place.

He said, “Who left their f***ing little boy with that man [The Dalai Lama]? Where are the parents while that’s happening?” He added, “It’s f***ing ridiculous. The fact that he said that [asking the child to suck his tongue] and then he did it in front of everybody. And then he apologized and then he kind of went away… it’s pretty much proof [that] you’re trying to get a boy to French kiss you.”

The Dalai Lama was also involved in other controversies earlier when he said that Europe should be kept for Europeans as well as suggesting that if a female Dalai Lama is appointed, she should be more attractive.
