Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov did mention Jones’s behavioral problems and his troubles with the law. However, that does not take away his skills as a fighter. “Maybe not in terms of behavior or the law or something else. But I’m confident that he will wipe out the top-5 heavyweights. Except for two guys.”

Abdulmanap was confident that Jon Jones would be a tough customer in the heavyweight division at that time. However, he believed that there were a couple of fighters who he thought could give ‘Bones’ a couple of hard fights. Nurmagomedov didn’t disclose who the two exceptions were.

However, receiving words of praise from Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father speaks volumes about Jon Jones’s reputation as the greatest fighter to step foot inside the octagon.
