‘The Count’ in the latest episode of his podcast answered some questions from UFC and MMA fans. The 44-year-old spoke about an interesting detail about his fight against St-Pierre that changed his life.

The former UFC middleweight champion spoke about his important fight when he faced Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217. ‘The Count’ had won the championship against all odds as he defeated Luke Rockhold. However, his fairytale would not last for much longer as succumbed to a loss against ‘Rush’ at UFC 217.
Although disappointing result, Bisping remembers the fight in fond memory owing to one aspect. He added, “When I fought Georges St-Pierre, that’s by far my biggest fight.” Clearly, Bisping has no ill will in his fight against the Canadian.
‘The Count’ continued, “Did very well you know… There was some good life-changing money from that one. It takes a while to collect it also. It feels like it…” As stated, the fight was Bisping‘s highest-selling PPV fight of all time. UFC 217 crossed 875,000 PPV buys all around the world.
Bisping also remembers the fight due to some other factors that happened during the fight.

The English fighter revealed some interesting details about his fight against the UFC legend. Bisping said, “so many things went wrong in that fight. Not only were my ribs broken or because of the tour a few days before the fight, which was bad, there was a lot of other stuff going on.”
