Before the UFC Fight Night bout against Jared Cannonier, the middleweight fighter, Sean Strickland, appeared in a press conference. Strickland talked about his dislike for Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett. Furthermore, the interview turned into an argument as the American mixed martial artist stood against England while lifting the US up high. It all ended with the fighter asking the journalist to be an American for a day.

Nicknamed the ‘Tarzan’, Strickland doesn’t really vibe with the jungle dweller. Moreover, he previously stated that he was dropping his nickname and taking hold of ‘Hate’. The new nickname seemingly matched the fighter as the conference proceeded.
Sean Strickland believes America is the best
In a recent press conference, Sean Strickland had a debate with a reporter. It all began when the fighter badmouthed the English fighter, Paddy Pimblett. “… that English little f**king pr**k”, said Strickland. However, the reporter seemed to defend the ‘Baddy’.
Surprisingly, ‘Tarzan’ guessed that the reporter shared nationality with Pimblett. He said, “What are you? Are you English, too? Are you English? How does it feel to live in a surveillance state? When England took your f**king nuts and said you can’t own a knife, did it hurt? Does it feel good to be in America and a land of the free?”
Although the journalist declared the USA to be the home of the brave, Strickland was not one to stop. He went on saying how America is better than England. The fighter justified that England was a land that was surveyed the most. He said, “You guys have f**king camera every corner.”
Finally, the journalist justified his reason to live in America. But in the end, Strickland dismissed his reason altogether. The proud American simply said, “Because it’s better than England. Just admit it, bro. You can be American for a day.”

Strickland has fought many star fighters in the UFC. The list includes big and rising names like Alex Pereira, Kamaru Usman, Uriah Hall and Israel Adesanya. Although Strickland has fought more than 25 bouts, he claimed that the best one was against the ‘Last Stylebender’.
He said, “We all know that I’d had the best fight with Izzy. I mean, he’s gonna f**king run around me. I’m gonna get frustrated. He might outpoint me. But, you know, f**king, it’ll be the best fight.” Nonetheless, the Californian will land against Jared Cannonier in the main event of the upcoming middleweight UFC Fight Night.
