Brand endorsement deals have always been a considerable part of a combat sports athlete’s income. Until a few years ago, UFC fighters were allowed to have their own sponsors, which provided them with a good amount of wealth per fight. This is probably why several fighters stood against the UFC when the promotion announced that their fighters will have to refrain from individual sponsorships. But, these restrictions imposed by the UFC don’t apply to fighters when they aren’t performing inside the octagon. Hence, a number of noted UFC athletes earn healthy amounts of wealth from sponsorships even today.
It’s also understandable that the most noted fighters attract the biggest brands. They earn the most lucrative amounts from their endorsement deals as well. UFC Bantamweight, Sean O’Malley, was always a touted name on the UFC roster. But his climb towards a title shot and the subsequent win against the former UFC Bantamweight champ, Aljamain Sterling, elevated his popularity even further. It has also earned him another lucrative endorsement deal.

And it’s common knowledge that sugar tastes sweet. Hence, the fitness equipment brand ‘SweetSweat’ couldn’t find a better match and elected O’Malley to endorse their products.

On 22 June 2022, ‘SweetSweat’ announced its partnership with ‘Sugar’ on its official Twitter page and also predicted that he would gain the UFC Bantamweight title soon. The exact words on their Twitter post read, “Welcome to the Suga Show! This year we’ve signed @sugaseanmma, as an Official Sweet Sweat Athlete. No doubt on his way to a UFC title soon with 11 KO’s and infamous “Unranked Champ” mindset”.

Well, nobody can call O’Malley the “Unranked Champ” now. He made ‘SweetSweat’s’ prediction come to life after he actually captured the UFC Bantamweight title, defeating Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292.
Which other brands does Sean O’Malley endorse?
O’Malley won his maiden UFC title via a sweet second-round TKO, without breaking a lot of sweat. As he added another feather to his cap, ‘SweetSweat’ was not the only brand celebrating his name. Alike a number of his fellow UFC fighters, O’Malley also earns via promoting multiple brands.
