Guys wake up, a new UFC curse just dropped. You’ve heard of the Drake curse, the EA Sports UFC cover curse, and the Chael Sonnen prediction curse. Now let us introduce you to the as-of-yet-developing Nina Marie Daniele curse. Daniele, of course, runs the popular MMA YouTube channel, ‘Nina Drama’.
The channel has blown up recently because of her unique, fun, and humorous approach to interviewing fighters, which is quite different from most other MMA outlets, who play it straight. However, recently, fans have been talking about fighters who go on her channel losing their fights, which has some concerned if her YouTube channel is jinxed. And in this article, we take a look at this urgent and pressing matter.

The Nina Marie curse and its past victims
Nina Marie Daniele, of course, famously had Arman Tsarukyan on her show days before the lightweight’s UFC 311 clash against lightweight champ Islam Makhachev in January. During the video, Tsarukyan showed Daniele some of his moves, including a neck bridge exercise for which he had to contort himself quite a bit. And some fans feel that this is at least part of the reason Tsarukyan hurt his back later and had to pull out of UFC 311.

This actually led to the YouTuber claiming she was being trolled and harassed by fans and trolls online, who partly blame her for the #1 ranked lightweight pulling out. Later, the Armenian star and Daniele would appear in a video, where Arman Tsarukyan said that he didn’t actually hurt his back because of Daniele.

In addition, a few other notable stars, who have appeared on Daniele’s channel prior to their fight have also lost their fights, which, for some, proves the veracity of this ‘curse’. Shara Magomedov, who was undefeated before his UFC 312 clash against Michael ‘Venom’ Page, also appeared on Daniele’s channel prior to the fight. As did Japanese dynamo Kai Asakura prior to his UFC 310 flyweight title clash against Alexandre Pantoja last year. What does this mean for her buddy and fan favorite champ Alex Pereira?!
Will Alex Pereira be the next prey of Nina Marie’s curse?
With Alex Pereira appearing on Daniele’s channel prior to his UFC 313 clash against Magomed Ankalaev on March 8, many are concerned that the curse will strike again and ‘Poatan’ will lose the title. But that brings us to the Nina Marie Daniele ‘curse’. Pereira did a video with the YouTuber prior to his UFC 308 clash against Khalil Rountree Jr. last year, too.

And as you will remember, he won that fight. As have many other fighters who have collaborated with Daniele before their fights. Michael ‘Venom’ Page, who beat Shara Magomedov at UFC Saudi Arabia, Merab Dvalishvili before his first successful title defense in January, and Jiri Prochazka prior to his knockout victory over Jamahal Hill at UFC 311 all went on her channel and won.
Not to mention Magomed Ankalaev himself appeared on her channel a few days ago. So even if there is such a thing as the Nina Marie Daniele curse, Pereira is safe from it at least for this fight. This means whoever fights better on the night will emerge as the light heavyweight champion of the UFC this weekend. What are your thoughts on the curse?
