Despite not being the tallest fighter in the division, we can clearly see that Gamrot has mass when he fights, making him look considerably bigger against his opponents. This makes us wonder how much is the UFC lightweight’s actual walk-around weight. It is quite impossible to figure out how the exact weight of a person just by looking at them unless they tell you. However, in the Polish fighter’s case, there are a few guesses that can be made.

Mateusz Gamrot had previously mentioned that he preferred fighting in the lightweight division while he was about to join the UFC as a 13-0 lightweight prospect. He also revealed that he had a hard time cutting weight to the featherweight limit. As he said, “I think the lightweight category is better for me. Because I can’t cut too much weight but if I have big offers for featherweight, I will be ready.”

This alone can give us a good guess that the UFC lightweight walks around 180 lbs mark. Mateusz Gamrot had cut weight to the featherweight division in the past. And as you would guess, considering “Gamer” is a big lightweight, his move to featherweight was to become a two-divisional champion back in KSW.
