Many fighters choose to never disclose their walk-around weight due to various reasons. But fortunately, the ‘Funk Master’ has publicly revealed his walk-around weight at least once. In an Instagram post from 2022, the former UFC champion revealed the weight he usually walks around at. If his words are to be believed, Sterling walks around at 165-168 lbs: “ My normal walk around weight is 165-168 lbs. Losing weight quickly is now down to a science for me.”

For the majority of his career, the American fighter has fought mostly in the bantamweight division. This means that ‘Funk Master’ has cut around 30 lbs before almost every fight!

He answered this question before his title-losing fight at UFC 292. Days before the bout, Sterling revealed his true intentions in ‘The MMA Hour Show’. At that time, Sterling was planning to leave the 135-lbs division if he defeated Sean O’Malley.

In this new change of pace, it seems like the ‘Funk Master’ is not coming back to the bantamweight division soon!
