UFC CEO Dana White has found himself catching flak from the MMA fandom in light of the recent, abrupt cancellation of the UFC 303 press conference in Dublin! The event was scheduled for June 3 in Conor McGregor’s home country to build hype for his long-awaited return to the Octagon against Michael Chandler. ‘The Notorious’ has been away from competition since suffering a horrific fracture to his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021.

While he has since recovered, and despite multiple delays with his fight confirmation against Chandler, the Irish MMA icon is set to face off against ‘Iron’ in a welterweight bout on June 29. Regardless, the MMA fandom was left reeling when the June 3 press conference was postponed 12 hours before its scheduled start time. This led to a lot of speculation by the fans about the possibility of McGregor pulling out of the bout and the reason behind the postponement.
